Jennifer Johnson Jordan and Annett Davis locked up one of the U.S. berths in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games with a victory at the FIVB French Open in Marseille on July 23… The tandem have now won six career pro beach titles, including two international titles and four domestic crowns… Started this season as the No. 1 ranked U.S. women's team and the No. 2 ranked on the FIVB Beach Volleyball Tour after posting four medal finishes in 1999… All stops on the 1999-2000 FIVB Tour were Olympic Qualification Tournaments for Sydney…

In 1999, Jenny Johnson Jordan teamed with Annett Davis to become the winningest USA men's or women's pro beach team in 1999. Together they won $202,500. Johnson Jordan and Davis won their first pro titles in 1999 by capturing events in Michigan and Portugal. The pair also finished second in the 1999 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Marseille, France.

1997 was her second season with the 4-person Women's Beach Volleyball League (WBVL), and Team Nike finished in first place tied with Team Paul Mitchell with 132 grand prix points each… In 1997, competing with the best global beach volleyball players, Jenny's 4-person team (Davis, Gabrielle Reese and Stephanie Cox) took first place at the first-ever Beach Volleyball World Championships staged at the UCLA Tennis Center…

Jenny has strong passing and defense skills, and her partner Annett says, "What makes her great is that she can block, she can pass, she can set, she can hit, and she can serve tough."

Jenny graduated from UCLA with a degree in Communication Studies where she also competed in volleyball at UCLA where she started for three seasons. She captained the 1994 and 1995 teams. Johnson Jordan earned All-League and All-American honors.… She was a leader of Athletes in Action, a Christian Ministry at UCLA… Named as one of the top volleyball player's in UCLA's history…

Her father, Rafer Johnson, is a world and Olympic decathlon record holder, and an Olympic Gold medalist (1960 Rome) and Silver medalist (1956 Melbourne)… Jenny is married to Kevin Jordan, a former wide receiver on the UCLA football team…
